What To Expect On A Sunday
Sometimes it is just nice to know what to expect before going into an unfamiliar building with unfamiliar people. Below is a summary of what a typical Sunday morning looks like at Living Grace.
When you arrive, everyone is greeted by a smiling face at the door. They are there to answer your questions or to help guide you to the right place.
If more information is needed, or you simply have a question, the Welcome Center is located in our lobby and our front porch staff are available to answer any questions you may have. Make sure to grab a special gift for first time guests at the Welcome Center.
THE SUNDAY MORNING EXPERIENCE
Our Sunday morning gatherings begin with a worship service at 9:00 a.m. and then one at 10:45 a.m. There are times for fellowship and getting to know one another before and after both worship services.
Our two worship services are identical and include a time of congregation singing, Bible teaching and prayer. The praise and worship style is modern, yet also includes some of the historic hymns, all inspired by testimonies of faith in Christ and empowerment of the Holy Spirit. In sum our worship is vertical - God focused; and horizontal - edifying to God's people.
We believe that the Christian faith is for the whole family and that our children learn best when the faith is modeled by the parents. For this reason, we include children ages 4 and up in our times of worship and communion. During the message, we invite children ages 4 - grade one to attend children's church where they can hear a message geared for little ears.
All children of all ages are welcomed throughout the whole service.
We participate in the Lord's Supper (Communion) on the first Sunday of each month and a baptism service at least twice a year.
We offer optional childcare for children 0 - 3 years in our secure nursery and toddler rooms during both services. In addition, we offer children's classes in our Grow Zone for ages 0 - 12th Grade during the first service at 9:00 a.m. During the second service we have our Grow Zone Experience for ages 4 through 6th grade. Children will start out with their parents in the Worship Service but will be dismissed part way through the service to have a Bible Story relevant to their age, worship time, bible memorization and more.
