ELECTRONIC GIVING FAQ
WHAT IS ELECTRONIC GIVING?
Electronic giving allows you to make your regular giving, one-time gifts or pay event registration fees to LGCC without having to write a check, simplifying giving for you and collections for the church. Electronic giving is not intended to replace the receiving of offerings during the worship service but does provide another avenue for giving.
HOW CAN I GIVE ELECTRONICALLY?
There are a few options available to you for electronic giving, all of which can be done in under a minute:
1) TEXT GIVING Text “GIVE” to 847-558-6499 and follow the prompts
2) MOBILE APP Search “LGCC” on your app store for the Living Grace Community Church app by Aware3
3) ONLINE Find the link to electronic giving at www.livinggraceonline.org
DO I NEED A NEW LOGIN ID AND PASSWORD FOR A NEW ACCOUNT?
No. Anyone can utilize electronic giving without an account. You, guests, family or friends can donate or make payments to LGCC without an account. However, you do have the option to create a 4 digit PIN that can be used to identify yourself if you expect to use electronic giving in the future. Creating a PIN will save you from having to enter your personal and payment information with each transaction.
FROM WHAT BANK ACCOUNTS CAN I GIVE?
You can give electronically from your checking or savings account. You can also use any credit or debit card.
ARE THERE TRANSACTION FEES? WHO PAYS THE TRANSACTION FEES?
Yes, there are fees associated with each electronic giving transaction. At the time the transaction is made or a recurring gift is set up, you will have the option to pay the transaction fee as part of your donation. LGCC pays the transaction fees not paid for by the donor. Transaction fees are 1% for transactions from a checking or savings bank account and 3% for debt card and credit card transactions.
IS ELECTRONIC GIVING SECURE?
Yes. In many ways giving electronically is safer than writing a check because an electronic gift cannot be lost or stolen. PCI compliance is required for every business accepting credit cards, regardless of your payment processing method. PCI Compliance is provided by our merchant services vendor. LGCC is not required to provide or manage this aspect of electronic giving.
WHEN WILL MY TRANSACTION BE PROCESSED?
Generally, transactions will appear on your credit card or bank account two business days after the transaction is made. Transactions will appear in your CCB giving statement up to one week after the transaction is made.
WHAT IS CCB?
Church Community Builder (CCB) is LGCC’s data management system which allows the LGCC family to share contact information, ministry groups to communicate with each other and our finance team to securely manage the giving records of our congregation. While you do not have to set up an account on CCB, if you do you will have secure access to your giving records to LGCC. To set up a CCB account go to https://livinggrace.ccbchurch.com
CAN I MAKE A ONE-TIME OR RECURRING GIFT?
Yes and yes! You can make a single donation, pay event fees or other gifts as a one-time gift. You can also set up recurring gifts weekly, monthly or quarterly, if you would so choose. For both types of contributions, you can designate the schedule and source of the gift (checking or savings bank account, debit card or credit card).
CAN I REVIEW MY GIVING HISTORY ONLINE?
Yes. This capability is available through CCB, our church data management system. Once you have established an online account with Church Community Builder (CCB) you can sign in and view your complete giving history regardless if the gift was made via check or electronic giving. Your online giving history can also be monitored through the mobile app and text giving link “manage your gifts”.
CAN I GIVE TO SPECIAL CAMPAIGNS OR GIFTS ELECTRONICALLY?
The standard funds for giving will include General, Missions, Mortgage and Benevolence. However, during event registrations or one-time campaigns, specialized fund options will be available when giving electronically. Some examples might be, retreat registration fees, free clinic donations, and Awana registration, to list a few.

HOW WILL I KNOW MY ELECTRONIC GIFT WAS COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY AND ACCURATELY?
When giving via text, you will immediately receive a text message containing a link to a receipt. You can also verify your gift by viewing your giving history in CCB as well as via your bank mobile application or on your monthly bank statement.
